On December 2nd the first Sylvan Lake Winter Village will light up part of their pier, after the Santa Clause Parade and Fireworks.
Beautiful light displays will light up the part of the pier area, just before the volleyball courts and will include planters that have been sponsored and decorated by local community members. The goal is to expand this fun event every year with more of the pier decorated and other features like an ice skating rink on the lake!
Winter Village Activities
The Winter Village is set to stay open until Family Day and there will be many activities held at the with several taking place during the holiday season. On Dec. 9, 10, 16 and 17 between 4-6 p.m., the Winter Village will host bonfires and special programming for residents and visitors to take in. From Dec 1-19th you can also vote for your favourite decorated planter too!
With Sylvan Lake being a favourite destination for many in the summer you can be that this will now be a must-see destination for the winter time too!
