Do you have a dinosaur-obsessed kid? Several Alberta Mamas either have or had one. There have been MANY dino-related trips! Alberta’s top dinosaur destination is obviously Drumheller, and what better way to make the trip extra-memorable than staying at a hotel with a sweet water slide?!

With a population under 10,000, Drumheller has more than a typical small town’s share of hotels, but only a couple with water slides. We’ve filtered through to get you a list specifically focused on the pools. Take a look!

Drumheller Hotels with Waterslides

SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Drumheller

Pool and Waterslide at SureStay Drumheller

Address: 800-680 2nd Street SE

With a range of room options (some with kitchenettes!), typically lower prices, complimentary breakfast, and a shared parking lot with the Ramada, the SureStay Plus is our top choice for a hotel in Drumheller.

It’s a bit more dated than the Ramada, but we try to avoid letting aesthetics get in the way of saving a buck! And having a stove to prepare meals in the hotel saves more than a buck or two.

Ramada by Wyndham Drumheller Hotel & Suites

For those who know Drumheller, The Ramada is right next to Canadian Tire. For those who don’t know Drumheller, this hotel is in the newer part of town, and shares a parking lot with family vacation necessities like McDonald’s, Boston Pizza, and Jerry’s Liquor Store (we know how to cap off a day playing tourist with the kids!).

The Ramada offers a complimentary breakfast and a very well stocked gym.
